Smurfit Kappa to convert virgin fiber linerboard machine PM to unbleached MG PM at its Sangüesa mill in Spain

BRUSSELS, May 22, 2014 (PPI Europe) -Smurfit Kappa is set to invest Euro 27 million ($37 million) in order to convert its 65,000 tonne/year virgin fiber linerboard machine PM 1 into a 30,000 tonne/yr unbleached machine-glazed (MG) PM at its Sangüesa mill in Spain.

The conversion plan will result in the mill's PM 1 being renamed PM 4.
