PPC legal counsel Clausen Ely honored for more than 40 years of service at fall meeting in Atlanta

SPRINGFIELD, MA, Nov. 18, 2014 (Press Release) -Clausen Ely, The Paperboard Packaging Council's (PPC) legal counsel of more than 40 years, was honored for his contribution to the organization during PPC's recent Fall Meeting in Atlanta, GA. Ely will retire from his post with PPC effective January 1, 2015.


Tetra Pak to stop production at its Lund plant in Sweden by the end of February 2015

BRUSSELS, Nov. 18, 2014 (RISI) -Tetra Pak will cease production of packaging material at its factory in Lund by the end of February 2015. The move follows the firm's announcement in August that it would close the facility.

The consultation process with unions and employees was completed and some 250 jobs will be cut, a spokesperson from the firm said.
