KapStone Paper and Packaging sets two-for-one stock split to increase liquidity

NORTHBROOK, IL, Dec. 11, 2013 (PRNewswire) -KapStone Paper and Packaging Corporation (KS) today announced that its Board of Directors has approved a two-for-one (2:1) split of the Company's common stock at today's regularly scheduled board meeting. The stock split will be structured in the form of a stock dividend.

Brazilian corrugated board shipments hit 300,870 tonnes in November

SAO PAULO, Dec. 11, 2013 (RISI) -Preliminary data released by the Brazilian corrugated board assn (ABPO) show a 3.26% increase in corrugated board shipments in November to 300,870 tonnes over the same month of 2012.

The figures also represent, however, a 5.93% reduction over the 319,835 tonnes recorded in October.
