SAICA officially opens £300 million PM-11 recycled containerboard facility at Partington Wharfside in the UK

ZARAGOZA, Spain, April 24, 2013 (Press Release) -Europe's most advanced recycled paper mill was officially opened today by Rt Hon Michael Fallon MP, Minister of State for Business & Energy. The £300 million facility, known as PM-11, was built by Spanish multinational paper and corrugated packaging manufacturer SAICA at Partington Wharfside, Trafford.

Operations at three DS Smith corrugated plants in France back to normal

BRUSSELS, April 22, 2013 (RISI) -Operations at three DS Smith (DSS) corrugated packaging plants in France are back to normal as of today, the firm said. DSS' Atlantique plant in Nantes, the Bretagne plant in Carhaix and the Normandie plant in Torigni-sur-Vire had partial production interruptions last week as employees protested over salary increase issues.
