SOLNA, Sweden, May 6, 2013 (Press Release) -In order to satisfy one of the conditions set by the EU Commission for approval of the combination between Billerud and Korsnäs, an agreement has been signed with SwedPaper AB ("SwedPaper") concerning divestment of a paper machine (PM2) at the Gävle production unit.

RockTenn shutting down box plant in Massachusetts impacting 90 workers

SAN FRANCISCO, May 3, 2013 (RISI) -RockTenn will close a corrugated container plant in Massachusetts at the end of the month, according to a local press report.

About 90 workers will be laid off at the Mansfield, MA, facility, with some workers already dismissed,The Sun Chroniclereported.
