Brazilian corrugated board sales grow 2.9% in 2013; ABPO expects a 3.5-4% increase in 2014

SAO PAULO, Jan. 14, 2014 (RISI) -Preliminary statistics released by the Brazilian corrugated board assn (ABPO) indicate a 2.9% increase in Brazilian corrugated board shipments in 2013 over 2012 with a total volume of 3.4 million tonnes. ABPO was expecting a 2.5-3% growth for the industry last year and is now forecasting a 3.5-4% improvement in 2014 sales.
