Fusion Paperboard union members file grievance against company, accuse it of breaching contract after shutdown of CT mill announced

SPRAGUE, CT, Aug. 1, 2014 (Local News) -Members of United Steelworkers Local 1840, which represents Fusion Paperboard employees, filed a grievance against the company Wednesday, accusing it of breaching a negotiated contract, chapter president Rich Harrelle told The Bulletin.

Lee & Man starts up 400,000 tonne/yr recycled containerboard PM in China

SHANGHAI, Aug. 6, 2014 (RISI) -Lee & Man Paper Manufacturing has started up a 400,000 tonne/yr recycled containerboard machine at a mill in Chongqing municipality in China.

Dubbed PM 20, the Valmet unit is 7.25 m wide and has a design speed of 1,100 m/min.
